Director of Donor & Foundation Relations

Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director of Donor and Foundation Relations is responsible for providing strategic leadership for development strategies that advance Springtide’s mission. The primary focus will be on identifying funding partners as well as writing, submitting, and securing grants from corporate and foundation sources. The Director is responsible for meeting funding goals, and, in collaboration with the President & CEO, will guide and oversee all donor-focused communication efforts. This position serves as the primary liaison to the development advisory council comprised of local and national leaders

Head Writer & Editor

The Head Writer and Editor will be primarily responsible for two things: First (60-70%), writing original content, including but not limited to report writing, copy writing, editorial (news) and opinion (blog) writing, and other writing as assigned, both digital and print for Springtide publications, social media channels, web content, and copy to support marketing. This position will be responsible for building and applying editorial brand guidelines and Springtide’s style manual in content creation, editing, and proofreading across content categories. This position will curate and edit both digital and print content for Springtide’s website, as well as for developing author guidelines, identifying potential content contributors, providing considerate guidance and coaching to young writers, and aligning content with Springtide’s vision, mission and brand.

Springtide Internship

Springtide offers internships for undergraduate or graduate students during the fall, spring, and summer semesters to students who are currently enrolled in an accredited university and have a passion for helping to end social isolation among young people through a combination of research and creative partnerships. Interns assist with a variety of tasks according to Springtide’s needs and the intern’s specific skills with three different placements options in: Research, Editorial, or Community Engagement. Each intern will have the opportunity to learn about the entire organization, including strategic direction, funding sources, and management.
