Springtide Research Institute was recently featured in Crux. This article, Study Shows Young People Lack Faith in Religious Institutions,  is an interview of Dr. Josh Packard by Charles C. Camosy, and is reprinted in part below, but we encourage you to visit their site to read the piece in its entirety.

the spiritual lives of young people and the rise of the religious “nones” has been a topic of significant interest for many people, and rightly so — any religious leader with stakes in their own institution and the well-being of this upcoming generation should be thinking about these questions of affiliation and disaffiliation. But we at Springtide Research Institute don’t collect qualitative and quantitative data on the inner and outer lives of young people for shock value or catchy headlines. We listen to their stories so we can amplify their voices. We amplify their voices so the adults and leaders in their lives can learn how better to serve them.
